Virtual Symposium

In 2005, we held the inaugural “Tissue Engineering 2020" symposium with the goal of envisioning the future of the field of tissue engineering. The field has evolved significantly over the past 15+ years. Given this evolution, we agreed that this was a perfect time to take a step back, rethink the field, and visualize where we need to go in the future. To this end, we are bringing together the current and emerging leaders in our field for a virtual, two-day symposium on Next Generation Tissue Engineering, designed to help guide scientific discovery and its translation into clinical and commercial applications.

Trainee Workshop

The Next Generation of Tissue Engineers Trainee Symposium is a 1-day virtual event dedicated to Graduate and Postdoctoral Trainees in Tissue Engineering, but open to all! This trainee-led symposium will be held on September 21, 2021 11am-5:30pm EDT and will include 3 moderated sessions of talks covering (1) Responsive Biomaterials, (2) In Vitro Systems and Bioreactors, and (3) Regenerative Engineering. After the sessions, we’ll kickoff our new and exciting series of ‘Career Conversations’ with panelists from industry, academia, government, and beyond. The trainee symposium will conclude with a virtual happy hour to facilitate networking among researchers at all levels.Our goal is to not only highlight the Next Generation of Tissue Engineers, but also stimulate the exchange of ideas and forge connections that drive the future of the field.
